I have spent my career working in community health agencies providing care for mood disorders, gender issues and the complexities of trauma. My passion has always been women’s mental health. I have been specializing in treating women’s issues including perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders for the past 8 years. My career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker began in 2001. Before opening my private practice, I spent the first 15 years working with children, adolescents, and families at a local agency. The opportunity to open a private practice and collaborate directly with Audubon in 2016 has allowed me to pursue my passion for Women’s Health and help women throughout their adult life. I have specific interests and or training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, BRCA Testing/Treatment issues, and Grief and Loss. In recent years, I have also developed an interest in Parenting, specifically how understanding and communicating the developmental needs of children and adolescents are critical in preserving the parent/child relationship.
